Blazing Print Speed

The SJ-1045 is Roland’s fastest inkjet with a maximum print speed of 484 sqft./hr. at 360 dpi. Roland developed this ultra-fast print speed for the production of huge signs and banners. One inch wide, the print heads employ 360 nozzles each. Large 30-sqft. banners take only minutes. The chart below illustrates the various print modes, resolution settings, and the resulting production capacity in square feet per hour.

Reliability You Can Count On

The SJ-1045 is designed to be a bulletproof production machine. With regular maintenance, it will provide years of trouble-free service. But, unlike most inkjets that require daily maintenance, the SJ-1045 requires significantly less servicing. Its ink system features a motor-driven elevator that automatically adjusts to print head height. It has wipers that clean two heads at a time and flushes the ink on each pass.
